37 year old patient presented for evaluation. She wanted to improve the appearance of her abdomen. She was unhappy with the appearance of her belly-button, sagging loose skin and stretch marks on her abdomen following pregnancies and weight gain. She reports that repeated attempts at diet and exercise has not helped. The pictures below are taken three months following abdominoplasty / tummy-tuck with muscle tightening (anterior rectus fascia plication). She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her normal activities including work at 2 weeks and exercise 4 weeks following her surgery. She is very happy and loves her new belly-button. Standard Abdominoplasty performed with anterior rectus fascia plication for diastesis (muscle separation of the midline) repair. This patient also had lipo sculpture of the flanks.
