Botox Las Vegas

Fine lines and wrinkles are a common aging concern for both men and women. Dynamic wrinkles such as crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, and upper lip lines are caused by facial expressions like smiling and frowning. The good news is they can be treated without surgery with Botox®

Botox® has been approved by the FDA since 2002 and an effective way to achieve a smoother, more youthful complexion. Keep reading to learn more about Botox® and how it works.

*Individual Results May Vary

Botox® is a brand name for a substance with botulinum toxin, a purified chemical that is derived from bacteria. It blocks muscular signals, weakens muscles, and prevents them from contracting and creating wrinkles.

Botox® is one of the most widely performed non-invasive cosmetic treatments. It can do wonders for improving fine lines and wrinkles in the upper portion of your face. If you’re bothered by an aged forehead or upper lip area, it’s certainly worth considering.

While some patients choose to have a single area treated at each appointment, many prefer to have multiple areas treated in a single session. Botox® treatments can typically be completed within 30 minutes and come with no downtime. You can resume work and your daily activities immediately afterwards and don’t have to worry about any pain or discomfort.

You will notice the results of your Botox® treatment anywhere between four to eight days. Since Botox® results are temporary, you’ll find that they’ll likely last for up to three months. We encourage you to visit our office for additional treatments once you notice them start to fade away. Botox® can leave you with a smooth, youthful look without anesthesia or extensive downtime.

Dr. Stile recommends Botox® to patients in good physical health who would like to temporarily treat dynamic wrinkles. It can help you treat forehead creases, crow’s feet, frown lines, and upper lip lines. Botox® is not recommended if you are pregnant, nursing, or living with a neuromuscular disease.
