Las Vegas, NV Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Frank L. Stile offers microdermabrasion at Stile Aesthetics to restore skin’s health, tone, and texture. Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive skin rejuvenation treatment that significantly reduces the appearance of superficial wrinkles, acne, age spots, and more. It is also safe and effective to use on the face and neck.
The cutting-edge technology of the microdermabrasion treatment uses gentle abrasion with suction to remove old or damaged skin cells. The result will leave you with smoother, younger-looking skin. If you are interested in learning more about microdermabrasion, call our office today at Stile Aesthetics to schedule a complimentary consultation. Our professional skincare team and highly trained aestheticians will be happy to educate you on how you can greatly improve your skin.
The patient’s face will be thoroughly cleaned prior to the procedure. A stream of fine particles will be sprayed onto the patient’s face to essentially polish the skin through a special handpiece. In the process, dead skin cells and other debris will be suctioned away by the Microderm system. Microdermabrasion also stimulates the skin’s production of collagen and elastin, which play a role in skin firmness.

The ideal candidates for microdermabrasion:
Treatments can take 30-60 minutes to complete.
There will be immediate results after microdermabrasion, where patients should experience smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin. For full results, 5-12 treatments are recommended every 2-3 weeks.
There’s no downtime with microdermabrasion, but the skin will look pink and also feel dry and tight for about 1 day after treatment. Moisturizer should be applied to alleviate these side effects.
