Description

Before and After Tummy Tuck. A 27-year-old patient presented to my office for evaluation. She wanted to improve the appearance of her abdomen. She was unhappy with loose skin and fullness of her abdomen following pregnancies. She reports that repeated attempts at diet and exercise have not helped. The pictures below are taken three months following abdominoplasty/tummy-tuck with muscle tightening (anterior rectus fascia plication). Lipo sculpture of her flanks was also performed to make her waistline smaller, She had a quick recovery and has returned to all her normal activities including exercise 4 weeks following her surgery. Standard Abdominoplasty was performed with anterior rectus fascia plication for diastasis (muscle separation of the midline) repair. This patient also had contouring of her flanks with lipo sculpture. These procedures were performed using general anesthesia in our fully licensed and accredited surgery center.
