Before and After Facial Fat Transfer. Las Vegas Woman Has Facial Fat Transfer/Facial Fat Grafting. A 54-year-old woman presented to my office for consultation. She is a dedicated fitness aficionado who has very low body fat. Unfortunately, this has resulted in her face looking "gaunt". She believes this ages her and makes her look unhealthy even though she is incredibly fit. She wants help with her "deflated" cheeks, hollowed temples, thin lips and deep nasolabial folds. She returned to most activities at two weeks post-op. Photos are six months post-op. She has retained most of her volume and is "happy" with her rejuvenated refreshed appearance. This patient had facial fat grafting/fat transfer of 60 cc's of harvested (from her inner thighs) purified fat injected into her face, temples, and lips which restored the lost volume she had in those areas.
