As a result of weight loss, pregnancy, or advanced age, the skin around your thighs can become lax and droopy. This results in the appearance of sagging or excess skin that can cause an unflattering shape, especially in short pants. This is why skilled Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Frank L. Stile, offers thigh lift surgery or Lower Body Lift at Stile Aesthetics in Las Vegas, NV.
With his extensive experience and expertise, Dr. Stile is able to create a treatment plan that is both personal and safe. With your custom treatment plan, your thighs will be shaped to compliment your unique profile. During the procedure, excess skin will be trimmed to produce a slender inner and outer shape to the thighs.
Thigh lift surgery is performed quite often by plastic surgeons, especially now with so many successful weight loss surgery patients. This surgery can be performed in an outpatient setting, but if it is combined with other procedures, an overnight stay may be necessary.
The incision for the thigh lift varies from patient to patient, depending on what type of thigh lift is being performed (medial, lateral, etc.), as well as the amount, location, and severity of the loose skin being removed. A lower body lift is performed with the patient under general anesthesia and usually takes 2 – 4 hours in the operating room.
As discussed in the consultation, patients can expect there to be swelling, bruising, and some pain after surgery, all of which can be managed accordingly.
