Breast Lift
A breast lift corrects drooping or sagging breasts that often arise due to the natural process of aging, extreme weight fluctuations, and pregnancy. If your goal is a perkier, lifted appearance, a breast lift may be the way to go. This procedure may also raise the nipple position and make the areola (the darker skin around the nipple) smaller. Keep in mind, however, that a breast lift will not change the size of your breasts.
A Breast Augmentation Can Be Combined with a Breast Lift
Depending on your unique aesthetic goals, Dr. Stile may suggest that you combine breast augmentation with a breast lift. This way, you can enhance the size and shape of your breasts and restore a perkiness to them. If you’re concerned by smaller breasts and sagginess and droopiness, a combination of both of these procedures is certainly worth considering.
Recovering From Breast Surgery
Following a breast augmentation or breast lift, Dr. Stile will ask that you stay away from strenuous activity for at least 48 hours. You may face soreness and swelling but these symptoms will fade away within 4 to 6 weeks. Dr. Stile will ask that you visit our office for follow-up appointments so he can make sure you’re on the right path to healing.
