LIPOSUCTION CONSULTATION

The first stage of the liposuction process involves an in-depth consultation with Dr. Stile. He will assess each client’s specific needs and determine the best treatment plan customized to their unique requirements.

Dr. Stile will also use the opportunity to determine if the client might benefit from a combined procedure, such as liposuction with a mommy makeover. Liposuction procedures can target the abdomen, thighs, upper arms and back, chin, and neck.

LIPOSUCTION PROCEDURE

The liposuction procedure begins with Dr. Stile injecting tumescent fluid into the treatment area(s). Next, he will insert a cannula with a suction tube attached via a small incision.

Dr. Stile will then use the cannula in a back-and-forth fanning motion to extract the precise amount of fat via a vacuum device. The area is sculpted to achieve the planned new contour. The solution (tumescent fluid) injected with the anesthesia ensures minimal swelling, bruising, and pain after the procedure.

As the incision at the treatment site is small, there is usually no need for stitching once the procedure is complete. Liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that provides superior results.

LIPOSUCTION RECOVERY

The procedure takes around one to two hours to complete in total. Post-procedure, patients can expect to fully recover in just two weeks. Plus, the techniques that Dr. Stile uses mean patients can resume work and daily activities in just one week.

Scarring is minimal from liposuction, and it can take a couple of weeks for the remaining fat to settle; some contour irregularities during this period are typical.

LIPOSUCTION RESULTS

Some swelling is normal after any liposuction procedure. But, the good news is any swelling is only a temporary effect and will subside on its own within a few weeks.

The results from liposuction are long-lasting, provided that patients maintain a healthy body weight and eat a balanced diet.
