WHAT ARE JUVEDERM®  DERMAL FILLERS?

Fillers in the Juvederm® family are temporary injectable treatments that enhance facial volume. They use a material called hyaluronic acid, which you may have heard of as a skincare ingredient. This powerful hydrating molecule is found naturally in your skin, making it a safe, effective filler material. Only a consultation can determine which filler your injector will use to achieve your goals. 

JUVEDERM® XC

This filler is used to correct moderate to severe lines and wrinkles, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It allows the treated area to move naturally. Results typically last about one year with good skincare. 

JUVEDERM® ULTRA XC

This lip filler does more than just plump and enhance your lips. It can also treat fine lines around the mouth, giving the area a more youthful look. It provides your lips with more definition and volume, and results usually last about a year. 

JUVEDERM® VOLUMA

This Juvederm® formula is a specialized cheek filler. It restores lost volume and improves definition for a more sculpted, youthful cheek structure. This resilient formula can last up to two years, making it one of the longest-lasting hyaluronic acid injectables. 

JUVEDERM® VOLLURE

This filler offers another option for treating deep lines and wrinkles, including those from the nose to the corners of the mouth and from the corners of the mouth to the chin. It can last up to eighteen months. 

JUVEDERM® VOLBELLA

This subtle, natural-looking lip filler also treats lines around the mouth to enhance and define your lips. Only your expert injector can determine which lip filler they recommend. This one usually lasts about one year. 

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR JUVEDERM®  DERMAL FILLERS?

Because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in your skin, members of the Juvederm® family are safe for almost anyone. Good candidates for Juvederm® fillers have reasonable expectations and goals. These fillers are very unlikely to cause any type of reaction. You should not have injectable treatments if you have an active skin condition or infection in the treatment area. 

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER JUVEDERM® DERMAL FILLERS?

You may notice minor redness, swelling, or bruising in the injection area. These will fade within a few days. Juvederm® dermal fillers require no downtime so you can squeeze them into your active schedule. You can limit the possibility of bruising by avoiding NSAIDs, alcohol, and certain supplements before treatment.
