Before and After Breast Reduction. A 64-year-old patient presented for evaluation for breast reduction. She complained of symptoms caused by her heavy breasts Including neck and back pain and shoulder grooving, She was also unhappy with the saggy appearance of her breasts. She wanted to have more youthful-looking/shaped breasts. She wore a DD cup bra (overflowing) bra and wanted to fit into a full C cup bra. The after pictures below are from three months following her breast reduction procedure. She had a quick recovery and has quickly returned to all her previous activities at 4 weeks. The technique used employed an anchor-type scar with a central mound pedicle. This Wise pattern technique leaves a minimally objectionable scar which improves the nipple improves position and reduces breast size.
